The new batch of congressional freshmen - or more aptly, "freshwomen" - are already making demands. Democrat Congresswoman Ilhan Abdullahi Omar, a Somali Muslim immigrant representing Minnesota's 5th congressional district, has already distinguished herself by making Congress change its 181-year rule barring hats to accommodate her Hijab Muslim headscarf. In the feminist land of "I believe her," hijab is a symbol of female empowerment. In actuality, it is a symbol of female seclusion from men. The new rule reads: “During the session of the House, a Member, Delegate, or Resident Commissioner may not wear nonreligious headdress or a hat…” Jewish House members never made an issue of the ban in the past. Senator Joe Lieberman, an observant Jew, did not wear a yarmulke in the chambers. Since the new rule now permits yarmulkes, it will be easier for the newly-elected anti-Semites to target religious Jews.
Florida Congresswoman Frederica Wilson who is famous for wearing colorful cowboy hats, previously tried to get the head covering rule revoked in 2010 on the grounds that it was sexist. The current rule change still bans Representative Wilson from wearing hats, despite the fact that cowboy hats are one of the most recognizable symbols of the rugged spirit of the American West, while hijab headscarves are one of the most visible symbols of female slavery. The meaning is explicit: in the 116th Congress the black female race card is beaten by the black female Muslim African immigrant race card. In the hierarchy of intersectional feminist politics, a four-of-a-kind victim beats a pair. If Congresswoman Omar were a member of one more protected class, she would be holding a royal flush of victim cards.
Wearing hijab in a room full of Congress members is the equivalent of wearing Superman’s cape. Congresswoman Omar’s headscarf makes her bulletproof against any criticism while she is fighting for open borders, social justice and the Sharia way. Muslim women’s victimhood is faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall controversies in a single bound. Her intersectional multiple victim street cred even made her invincible to the oldest taboo in history, incest. Ilhan Omar is not only the first Congress member to wear hijab, she is also the first representative in history to have been married to her brother. Although Sharia law permits child abuse, honor killings, female genital mutilation, slavery, domestic violence and institutionalized pedophilia, incestuous marriages are typically restricted to first cousins.
Other new Congresswomen are making symbolic statements in clothing. Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, the Palestinian-American anti-Semite with the anti-Trump potty mouth, does not wear a hijab but wore a traditional Palestinian thobe during the swearing-in ceremony. The thobe is a long tunic decorated with heavy embroidery and worn for various occasions all over the Middle East - the kind of garment that female Islamic terrorists wear over their suicide bomb vests. Deb Haaland of New Mexico, one of the first two Native American women elected to Congress, wore a traditional Pueblo dress and turquoise jewelry to the swearing-in ceremony. This may be another reason Representative Frederica Wilson was not permitted to wear her cowboy hat to Congress: the optics of Cowboys and Indians would not play well even among the identity politics crowd.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who behaves as if she is starring in her own reality show, is the youngest woman ever sworn into Congress. She wore a bright white pantsuit to the swearing-in ceremony. White is a popular feminist homage to the women's suffrage movement. She also wore hoop earrings and her signature red lipstick - which has been described as a symbol of change in American politics. Deep red lipstick has always had explicitly sexual connotations; hence it is more indicative of a woman who emphasizes looks and sexuality over substance to get ahead. Ocasio-Cortez’s signature red lips are the epitome of a classic sex symbol and an homage to the objectification of women.
Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, a Latina millennial, has been described as a young, hip Democratic Socialist prone to the occasional gaffe. That is a nice way of covering up what appears to be a classic case of arrested development. Ocasio-Cortez’s behavior is indicative of the emotional level of a tween who is stuck in the know-it-all phase. While Christine Ford was pretending to talk like a little girl to manipulate the media, Ocasio-Cortez is not faking it. Her tween mentality is that of a spoiled child diva who thinks she is the smartest person in the room and always needs to be the center of attention. House Democrat leaders cannot rein her in and are scrambling to do damage control.
These newly-elected Congresswomen’s fashion statements are more than just a tribute to their ethnic heritage or the women’s movement. They are a signal that they have no intention of assimilating to Congress in the same manner that their constituents have no intention of assimilating to America. They proudly wore their identity politics costumes to the swearing-in ceremony to remind everyone of which race card they will be playing.
After the success of the midterm elections, Women’s March organizers thought 2019 was destined to be the largest demonstration ever until the women’s wave started drowning in controversy. In 2018, the March became the focus of heated disputes over associations between some of the organizers and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a black supremacist who has made numerous hateful statements against whites, Jews, women, and gays. Farrakhan believes all white people are devils, has promoted various forms of international Jewish conspiracies, and previously banned women from attending his speeches.
The scandal originated when National co-chair Tamika Mallory, a gun control and Black Lives Matter activist, attended a Nation of Islam Saviours' Day event hosted by Farrakhan, during which he spoke of the "Satanic Jew." Mallory praised Farrakhan on social media and posted pictures with him on Instagram, with captions such as "He is definitely the GOAT (greatest of all time).” The controversy was exacerbated when co-chair Linda Sarsour, a Palestinian-American anti-Semite whose security is provided by members of Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, refused to heed calls to condemn him for his bigotry. Soon after, it became public that co-chair Carmen Perez, a Latina criminal justice reform activist, had previously stated that Jewish people bore a special collective responsibility as exploiters of black and brown people.
The three antisemitic racist Women’s March co-chairs Perez, Mallory and Sarsour may have figured that since women were gullible enough to be fooled by Christine Ford, they could persuade the useful idiots to start turning on Jews, and then whites. The Muslim, Black, Latina women’s militant insurgency was on schedule until the white girls got woke. Chaos followed with numerous calls for the National chairs to resign and the disaffiliation of several chapters. The Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Washington state Women’s March chapters either dissolved or completely distanced themselves from the national leadership and the New York City March split in two.
White women can identify with Christine Ford, an unhappy middle-aged woman who needed therapy for (supposed) traumatic memories of sexual assault and were even willing, at least in theory, to leave their white privilege at the door. But supporting a black racist, Jew-hating homophobe was a delusion too far. The cult of feminist victimhood only works if followers respect their leaders and can identify with the movement’s grievances.
Unfortunately, there are still thousands of women who will be demonstrating under the leadership of racist women who are the enforcers for the worst patriarchal totalitarian cultures in the world. Wearing "pussy" hats, "I Believe Her" buttons, and "The Future is Female" t-shirts is all fun and games until you discover you were sold out by gender traitors. The Women’s March is like a magical fantasy land of female solidarity that is free of jealousy, hierarchies and power struggles until Dorothy discovers the black supremacist, sexist, homophobic man behind the curtain. By the time the rest of the women wake up, click their heels together three times and say there’s no place like home, it will be gone.
